ELC Regional Director - April Spurlock

My name is April Spurlock, and I have been blessed to be a part of the LCA ministry for over a decade. I have had the pleasure of being a part of thousands of children's and families' lives during this time. I served as a Pre-K teacher for three years, toddler teacher for one year, and a curriculum coordinator for two years.  In 2011, I felt the Lord calling me to be the director of the Early Learning Center. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to provide excellent, Christian, early education for hundreds of children each year! I was born in Decatur, Illinois and grew up in Charlotte, Tennessee. My family moved to Smyrna my Junior year of high school and I instantly fell in love with this community.  I studied Early Childhood Education and Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree.  I have two amazing sons who attend Lancaster Christian Academy and completed the Early Learning Center program.  My desire is to provide a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment for every child that I meet and get that opportunity every day at Lancaster Christian Early Learning Center!

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found my home at Lancaster Christian Early Learning Center where the word of God can be heard and felt daily. I have been a part of the Lancaster family since 2016. I love being a part of helping each child form their own personal relationship with the Lord!

My husband and I have 4 wonderful children. Taylor, Skylar, Emma and Bella. My goal not only as a mother, but also as assistant director is that every child knows how much the Lord loves us, and for them all to know about his greatness. I am so thankful to be a part of pouring His word into your children. I am so excited to see where the Lord takes us!

I am so thankful for the family and loved ones I have made thus far and excited to see where the Lord takes us on this journey together here at Lancaster.
